The name Amethyst comes from ancient Greece, with a reference to an equally ancient belief that the stone protected it’s wearer from drunkeness. However amethyst is also believed to bring stability, aids in meditation and sleep and spiritual calm. This is the purpose for designing this room with amethyst in mind.
