Globe is home to one of the most renowned turquoise mines in the world. The Sleeping Beauty mine which you can see from almost any vantage point in Globe, produces some of the purest turquoise available and is used worldwide by artisans and jewelers.It is also believed that turquoise strengthens the organs, cools emotions and enhances psychic abilities and intuition.
